The Montessori educational model is based on and builds upon early childhood attendance, beginning at age 3. We encourage families to apply early as there are very few openings after age 3. Applications are accepted beginning any time after a child’s birth.Therefore, commitment to the School’s mission and educational philosophy will manifest itself in the signing of the Parent Contract, which will include a requirement of at least 20 hours of participation per year from each family in our school and an agreement to follow our school policies. Lakeland Montessori brings children together from a broad spectrum of ethnic, national, religious, and economic backgrounds. Students entering Lakeland Montessori at ages 3 and 4 are guaranteed admission to Kindergarten and have the opportunity to continue all the way through eighth grade. We serve children age 3-15, and we are honored when new families join our school community!
